Located in a little farming hamlet in Bolonia, where goats, cows and donkeys roam freely. The position of this house could not be more picturesque.
There are no neighbours so to speak, just a lot of cactus to keep you company. The garden is lovely and has been planned with children in mind…there is the wonderful wild olive tree which would make a fabulous camp, the small wet area with singing frogs and the slide into the natural swimming pool. For the adults the sea view!
The house is an ideal spot for a holiday with a group of friends or family; it is simple, white and rustic, but comfortable. There are five bedrooms and the possibility of sleeping more on the sofa bed in the sitting room. The house is divided in two, although it is rented as one, and each part has its own bathroom, kitchen, sitting, dining room and terrace, so it is perfect for two different families who want to holiday together but retain some of their own privacy.
Upstairs there is a comfortable living room with a double sofa bed, with TV, stereo, and spectacular views to the Strait of Gibraltar, the African coast, and Bolonia beaches. The dining room is furnished with an antique oak table for 6. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with vitroceramic cooker, oven, washing machine and fridge freezer. The house has been designed with the view in mind, so instead of having bedrooms upstairs they are all downstairs. There is air conditioning upstairs, however the rest of the house does not need it as the shutters and the thick walls keep the rooms wonderfully cool. The terrace upstairs would be the best spot for a long leisurely breakfast with fantastic views out to the beaches in Bolonia.
On the lower floor you will find three bedrooms, the master bedroom with a double bed and French doors leading into the garden, and two other bedrooms with twin beds. All of which have been nicely decorated and enjoy garden views. There is a bathroom which the rooms share and a potbelly stove to warm the bedrooms in the colder month.
From the north side of the house you enter into a charming and practical apartment: a cosy living-room, provided with a TV, DVD, a table for 4, and an open-plan fully equipped kitchen. There are two rustic style bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. Both bedrooms are big, with wardrobes and garden views.
The owners have thought of everything; there is a charming setting for every meal, for breakfast– the upstairs terrace with sea views. The downstairs terrace is the right spot for lunch and then the pergola in the lit up garden, next to the built in BBQ, the place to enjoy your supper and the magical Andalusian stars!
This is a truly excellent option for your holidays in an extremely beautiful mountainous area of Bolonia.Â
