Property Description

Monte de la Torre is of colonial Edwardian architecture and typically of that period is comfortably elegant and spacious.  Attractive features include the magnificent, sweeping mahogany staircase that leads up from the panelled drawing room and an elegant dining room. The bedrooms are high-ceilinged and have period bathrooms.

There are three terraces, two at the front of the house perfect for the late evening sun and a large terrace overlooking extensive gardens with lawns and mature trees.

The house has a private tennis court and private swimming pool for exclusive use. Available for rent from Saturday to Saturday all year round with a minimum of a seven night stay.

Monte de la Torre is the family home of the Larios family built by Ernesto Larios at the turn of the 1900’s. The house and estate is still owned and run by the Agnew-Larios family now into its 6th generation. The estate overlooks the bay of Gibraltar and is a “working” cattle and cork oak forest farm situated in a natural park between Sotogrande and the beaches of Tarifa. There are fabulous walks to be enjoyed on the estate in the cork forest up to the Thirteenth century Moorish look out tower and around the reservoir, which is wonderful for wild swimming and enjoying the swooping vultures and clacking storks that have made this area their home.

There is a farm school on the estate if you are looking for summer camps for your children see Aventura Bilingue.

The owners live in a wing of the property, they have their own garden and parking which is fenced off and keep to themselves unless of course you need any assistance, or have any questions about the house, estate or area and then they will be delighted to help in any way.

Rates & End Cleaning

Price per night
785 UKP

End cleaning is included in the cost.  However, in all cases you are responsible for keeping the property and all its contents in the same state of cleanliness, repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday. The owner reserves the right to make deductions from the security deposit for any extra cleaning, over the number of hours committed to departure cleaning.


Booking Conditions & Contact

Check-in & Check-out

Check-in: from 17.00 to 20.00* on arrival date
Check-out: by 10:00 am on departure date

*Arrivals after 20:00 must be advised in advance and agreed by Email with Tarifa Beach Houses.


Booking Terms

50% non-refundable deposit payment due at the time of booking.
50% balance payment due eight weeks prior to arrival.

We recommend all clients to take out travel insurance for their stay. 

Security Deposit
There is a 1000€ security deposit in the event of any breakages or damage whilst staying at the property, this is refundable within seven days of departure.

Cancellation Terms

50% confirmation deposit of booking is non-refundable
Balance payment is due 8 weeks prior to arrival, client loses full amount if cancellation is within the eight weeks prior to arrival.
