Casita Molino takes its name from the old mill house next door, once owned by the same family before being sold on. Puerto Llano has been a milling area for generations, and several of the old grain mills nearby are still in use today, grinding the flour for bread in town.
The setting is rural and quietly beautiful, with ancient cork oaks, old stone boundary walls and a tiny blue door set into the drystone rock wall, giving the whole place a romantic, storybook feel.
The house is built the traditional way, with thick whitewashed lime walls that keep it cool through the summer. Inside, the kitchen and sitting room are both generously sized, with vivid blue walls, hand-painted blue-and-white tiles, terracotta floors and dark wood beams overhead, plus a pellet stove that heats the house beautifully through the cooler months. It’s a characterful, lived-in kind of house rather than a show-home.
Outside, a sheltered interior courtyard makes the perfect spot for dining out of the wind, and a shaded terrace looks out over the garden. The private pool (4×8m) sits in the lawn with views rolling out over the wooded valley beyond, with proper Alcornocales countryside on every side.
For groups who need more space, there’s also the option of an additional, more basic apartment for two above the (inactive) stable block.

Minimum stay 5 nights. End cleaning €80. Security deposit €800.
End cleaning is 80€ for all bookings, however, in all cases you are responsible for keeping the property and all its contents in the same state of cleanliness, repair and condition, as at the commencement of the holiday. The owner reserves the right to make deductions from the security deposit for any extra cleaning, over the number of hours committed to departure cleaning.
