“Lovely apartment decorated to the highest standard with lots of touches like fresh flowers, plants, very nice colours and very stylish. All new and in perfect condition. Kitchen perfect to cook in, lounge with a very comfy sofa, lovely bed and very quiet, spotless clean! The owner lives next door with her family and is a very warm, welcoming person. We enjoyed our stay a lot – and spent a lot of time in this lovely place – we did not even want to go out. Thanks a lot!”

Ideal for couples or families with two children (not too small) looking for somewhere peaceful in the old town.

Property Description

A gorgeous house located at the top of the old town, bordering the castle walls, in a quiet and residential area. There is accommodation for two adults and two children and the possibility of coming with a larger group, as the owner has two more properties for rent in their charming little corner of Tarifa (please enquire for more information).

Fully renovated in 2016 by the stylish Spanish / French owners (who live next door) in a contemporary fashion; all the original arches and doors have been preserved and mixed in with clean, modern lines.

To get to the house one needs to go through the traditional Andalusian patio, which dates back to the XVII century, complete with years of lush vegetation. The bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor, up stairs on the first floor is the well-equipped kitchen and sitting room, and on the second floor there is a second “snug” sitting room (that converts into a sofa bed for one child).

The roof terrace is on the second floor and enjoys magnificent views out over the town and castle walls and beyond to Africa, an ideal spot to wind down after a day on the water…

50€ end cleaning fee for all bookings.

End cleaning is not included in the cost, it is 50€ for all bookings. However, in all cases you are responsible for keeping the property and all its contents in the same state of cleanliness, repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday. The owner reserves the right to make deductions from the security deposit for any extra cleaning, over the number of hours committed to departure cleaning.

PLEASE NOTE:

One can drive straight to the house, but there is very limited parking within the old town and roads are narrow so not recommended for nervous drivers. Please enquire for parking options.

“We've spent some wonderful days in a place full of charm. The owners had the house prepared so that you don't need anything, very complete and with many details that make your stay more pleasant. They are also at your disposal to recommend a good beach or a good restaurant. A whole experience in the heart of Tarifa, you can reach all places of interest on foot. Not to mention the spectacular views from the sun loungers on the top floor terrace.”

The apartment is on three floors so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. It has a rooftop terrace with two sunbeds and wonderful views overlooking the old town and the African coast. The owner is a wonderful hostess. Old Tarifa town is very unspoilt and obviously loved by the Spanish. There are plenty of tapas bars and restaurants in its narrow streets and squares. We’ve visited Spain many times and can honestly say we ate the best food ever in Tarifa and it was exceptional value. Highly recommended.”

*Arrivals after 20:00 must be advised in advance and agreed by Email with Tarifa Beach Houses.

Booking Terms

50% non-refundable deposit payment due at the time of booking by bank transfer.
50% balance payment due four weeks prior to arrival by bank transfer.
We recommend all clients to take out travel insurance for their stay.

Security Deposit
There is a 300€ security deposit in the event of any breakages or damage whilst staying at the property, this is refundable on departure.
