This fabulous casita hidden in the pine forest amongst millenary rocks is spectacular in its modern design, position and for its exceptional interiors. Ensconced in nature it is hard to believe its existence; however this was the owner’s vision, a place of serenity and truth where guests could reconnect with nature in comfort. The house and the shared gardens are proof of the owner’s great talents as an artist, gardener and creator. This is the perfect holiday retreat.
The small terrace on the side of the house has been incorporated into the main house and has made the downstairs much more spacious. The larger living area; sitting room and an open-plan fully equipped, kitchen. The sitting room has a plasma TV with satellite channels, DVD, HI-FI, cast iron wood burning stove and a sofa bed, for two extra guests. There is also a large bathroom with shower on the ground floor.
A climb up the floating stairs leads you to the bedroom with a large double bed, complete with amazing views out to the sea and the pine forests.
The 5000 m2 garden is a short walk and up some stairs from the casita and shared with the main house, there is a divine meditation garden with Balinese day beds and ponds of lotus flowers, a natural swimming pool and a fresh water spring for bathing. Leading down from the house is a trail that will bring you to an all but private beach, Playa El Cañuelo.
N.B. The natural pool is much like a rock pool, unlike a swimming pool it does not have a filter but water constantly passes through keeping it clean and ‘natural’. No chlorine here, in fact the water accumulates iron minerals as it passes through cracks in the rocks which gives the water a red rusty colour. It is safe to drink and of course to swim in and has some wonderful health giving.
Can be rented with the Secret Garden House to sleep a total of 11 guests.

Minimum stay is three nights.
End cleaning is included in the price. However, in all cases you are responsible for keeping the property and all its contents in the same state of cleanliness, repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday. The owner reserves the right to make deductions from the security deposit for any extra cleaning, over the number of hours committed to departure cleaning.
Renting a car is an absolute necessity at this property, I would recommend a car that is slightly higher off the ground, such as a Citroen Berlingo, Peugeot Partner something of this kind or even just the simple Fiat Panda. This property is accessed via a country track.

“Staying in this location put me into a deep state of relaxation, which is exactly what I was looking for. The setting is probably the best in the area - private, removed with absolutely breathtaking views of forest, ocean, beach, and mountains. But close enough to a nearby village to go out for a great dinner or to tour the local sites. Best of all, it's just a 10 minute hike in a trail to one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever been to. The home itself is perfect for 2 people. It has pretty much everything you need to make for a comfortable stay. My favorite part was the upstairs bedroom which had a huge window, allowing you to open it fully at night to capture the ocean breezes and sounds of the waves. I slept so well. And those views - spectacular. There is a lovely terrace and veranda in the front, perfect for dining and morning coffee. The host met us upon arrival. She was perfectly pleasant and helpful, showing us the features of the home and offering suggestions on dining and touring. And when questions came up during the trip, she was always available quickly by text message. Terrific hosts!! I recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation on one of the most beautiful spots in the world!”
