This fabulous 150m² house hidden in the pine forest amongst millenary rocks is spectacular in its modern design, position and for its exceptional interiors. Ensconced in nature it is hard to believe its luxuriousness; however this was the owner’s vision, a place of serenity and truth where guests can reconnect with nature in comfort. The house and the gardens are proof of the owner’s great talents as an artist, gardener and creator. This is the perfect holiday retreat.
The house sleeps six in three double bedrooms; one of these doubles is an original Arabian tower which has been refurbished preserving many of its original features into an impressive en suite double with standard sized bed with fabulous views out to the sea and the woods. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor that lead out to the garden. For the seventh and eighth guest there is a sofa bed up from the dining area.
The living and dining room is airy, bright and luxurious, with a plasma TV (satellite channels), HI-FI and DVD, a comfortable sofa and a chaise longue. There is also a dining table which will seat 6 comfortably, but you have the added option of eating al-fresco on the large terrace.
The kitchen is fully equipped, with all the appliances such as the vitro ceramic hob, oven, washing machine and dryer, fridge freezer, plus you will find all of the comforts of home such as a toaster and juicer to squeeze the delicious local oranges.
There is now an infinity pool in the private garden to the main house, which is exclusive to the house and the views and the setting are utterly inspirational.
The 5000 m2 gardens are shared with one other casita, however this house enjoys its own private garden, terraces, balconies and pool. There is a divine meditation garden with Balinese day beds and ponds of lotus flowers, a natural swimming pool and a fresh water spring for bathing. Leading down from the house is a trail that will bring you to what the locals call the ‘Lost Beach’, an all but private beach (nudist).
The natural pool in the shared garden is much like a rock pool, unlike a swimming pool it does not have a filter but water constantly passes through keeping it clean and ‘natural’. No chlorine here, in fact the water accumulates iron minerals as it passes through cracks in the rocks which gives the water a red rusty colour. It is safe to drink and of course to swim in and has some wonderful health giving components.
