This very special Spanish Farmhouse offers a relaxing, enjoyable and stress-free environment at just ten minutes’ drive from Tarifa’s famous beaches. The electric gates ensure absolute privacy during your stay. An avenue of forty palms leads to the main entrance, which opens into a beautiful shaded courtyard with tropical planting and swaying palms. A long wisteria covered terrace opens onto the lawned swimming pool area, set in an old orange orchard which is fenced and gated. This pool is an idyllic temperature during the summer months. Wooden sun beds are in the pool area and this long shaded terrace provides the ideal spot for lunch.
This accommodation for up to five people is wonderfully quirky, decorated with real flare with original pieces and marine antiques. For 2020 there is a second bedroom, which can sleep three people and a spacious covered terrace for dining and wiling the afternoon away with a good book.
The cottage can be accessed via the delightful Spanish cobbled courtyard that houses the horse trap, two of the owner’s friendly mares and a magical wooden tree house. Alternatively it can be reached through the new terrace with private parking literally outside. There is everything one could possibly need for your Mediterranean holiday in style…
The kitchen is well equipped and there is a farmhouse style solid wooden table, sitting room with plenty of space, a stylish red pot belly stove for the winter months. The bathroom is on the ground floor and one has to access the twin bedroom either from outside or passing through the bathroom. The twin room is painted in a bold turquoise and decorated with vintage accessories, but the highlight is without a doubt the windows which quite often might have two horses looking through. For animal loving children this property is truly a heavenly choice. The master bedroom is up a flight of stairs.
The surfer’s cottage has shared use of the swimming pool, astro turf tennis court, stunning mature gardens and various terraces scattered throughout the property. End cleaning is included in the cost. However, in all cases you are responsible for keeping the property and all its contents in the same state of cleanliness, repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday. The owner reserves the right to make deductions from the security deposit for any extra cleaning, over the number of hours committed to departure cleaning.
There is private parking to this property in front of the house and access is straightforward on a road in good condition.

Over the years the beach has gotten very crowded with wind surfers but there are beaches not far from the villa that are mostly swimmers and sunbathers. The accommodation itself is just perfect. There is a lovely pool, horses, tennis and the town of Tarifa is a 10 minute drive and full of fun bars and restaurants, but you may never want to leave.”
